Housings

The Series H microprocessor – controlled high frequency battery chargers are characterised by their compact, elegant, water-proof, small, and lightweight plastic cases. Holes for fixing the chargers are provided on their underside. The casing enables the cables to be stowed .



Microprocessor-Control

The digital microprocessor control allows lead acid batteries to be charged with liquid or bound electrolytes (MF, GEL, AGM…) and a battery capacity of 3 to 120Ah.

According to the design chargers may be obtained for 12 volts or 6 and 12 volts batteries. Charging takes place according to the constant-current characteristic pulse-I-U-Uconstant.

The high frequency technology allows the regeneration of deeply discharged and slightly sulphated batteries with a pulse process and to charge them back to up 100% in different phases. The switch over voltage when charging is complete will be adapted to the temperature. Monitoring of the charging process is not required.

Battery Maintenance

After the charging process the charger will switch over to maintenance charging where it can remain for several months. The battery will thus always be ready for operation. This function is particularly suitable for the over wintering of vehicles which are not in operation and for the storage/maintenance of batteries in the longer term.

The charging functions are easily selected with just one button. Detailed LED displays show the settings made and the charging phases.

Energy Saving

The high frequency technology ensures high efficiency while at the same time saving energy and protecting the environment. The electronic controls minimise the formation of gas during charging and protect your batteries.



Voltage - free Connecting Cables

The battery connection cables remain voltage free when the battery is not connected. The battery may be connected to the charger via fully insulated battery clips, a cigarette lighter or a fixed connection to the pole rings.

The charger is protected against short circuits and reverse polarity. and complies with all applicable European norms and standards.
