The adapters convert 230 volts of alternating current in 12 volts of direct current. Therefore they provide the possibility to operate all 12 volt direct current equipment at the 230 volts AC power supply system. Thus electrical cool boxes for cars, caravans, mobile homes and boats can be operated over the conventional household electrical outlets without problems.

The model YAL 1100 combines battery charger and 12 volts power adapter in one housing. The housing consists of shock and acid-proof plastic. A device is provided on the back to wind up the power and battery connection cables.
